weekly goals, 19 July 2009, appraised
Jul. 27th, 2009 04:44 amIt's been one of those weeks. Heat wave arrived, and I've just plain been tired and stressed. My wonderful counselor spoke vigorously on the theme of "Get some rest time. You need it." So I'm doing that.
- Keep on top of the medical stuff: go to diabetes training, talk to DSHS about hormone approvals.
+ Go to this week's Ingersoll Center session if and only my stomach is up to it; if not, don't push it. (Skipped it because of the heat.)
- Get all the remaining clothes ready for donation over to Goodwill, and the old hamper too.
+ Replace 3 high-carbohydrate foods in my diet with low-carbohydrate alternatives.+
+ Read 2 books for pleasure.
partial + Resume work on Project N; read 2 books for research purposes,
- Pick 2 things that'll help with feminine presentation and work on them.
+ Take 5 pictures I want to share on Flickr, or 3 on Deviantart.
I'm going to take a week off of weekly goals. It's going to be a physically demanding week because of the heat and adapting to the new, full dosage of metformin, and I have no goals beyond staying out of trouble and getting through it. I'll post whatever accomplishments there may be, but a checklist doesn't seem like the thing this week.
