*laugh*. Now I know what picture I'm posting today.
I think it's fun to have something in particular to look for when one goes out for a photo shoot. I take pictures of whatever I see, but I always keep a particular eye out for chain and locks.
I didn't plan on it, it's just that there's something in my soul that responds to the artistic potential of knobby rusty things, apparently. Egad that sounds like innuendo, though I didn't mean it.
Really looking forward to getting down to Ballard Locks again with the new camera.
Me too on rusty things. (The LJ community urban_decay is worth scanning, if you weren't already aware of it.) I think metal is great photography material, and I love pictures of texture.
