ceriAhh, the first post on a pristine journal.
My name is Ceri Nantworth. I'm a newly-realized transgendered woman, deep in the throes of figuring out what I do now and where I want to go in the long run. I'm white and middle-class, and trying to better understand the privilege that comes with those and reduce the harm I do to others because of it. I've had lupus since I was a teenager, and have learned a lot about privilege of all kinds through the lifelong battle with ableism. I've got a lot of nerdy tastes, and hope to build up the outdoors-enthusiast side of me now that I've identified a big source of persistent self-loathing and started to deal with it.
Mostly I post at Wordpress, and will use this journal mostly so I can take part in comment threads.
