So. I worked up the nerve yesterday to start looking at local groups that might have a trans support group...and wow was that a lot of unproductive searching. It seems like I should have (if support groups were what I wanted) done this a few years ago—I found several dead or decaying websites for groups gone under. What was left seems to be mostly FTM. Nothing against it, but it's not my need.

I have this horrible sense of anticlimax. (And more searching to do, admittedly.)

If you don't mind me asking, what area do you live in? It's kinda my job to find resources for people, so I tend to be able to find stuff other people don't know about. (Your age would help, too, in knowing whether or not you're eligible for certain services.)

Also (and again, sorry for all the questions), is Ceri short for something? It's what my mom (and no one else, thank goodness, cuz I'm not a fan of nicknames for myself) shortens my name to, so I was just curious.

They're definitely related names; mine's Ceridwen, a Welsh Goddess.

I don't know what your access to transportation is. Have you checked out the Ingersoll Gender Center? They're about nine miles from Ballard, so it's a little bit of a hike without a vehicle or good public transportation. Here's a list of their programs.

That's just from a quick Google search. I have friends from the Seattle area who might know more.
