On the third day of Christmas...
Dec. 27th, 2009 06:03 amIt's again come to my attention that many people in my general culture don't realize that the twelve days of Christmas begin with Christmas Day and run through to Epiphany, the day on which the wise men are supposed to arrive to visit Jesus. Now none of this ignorance is my fault, at least.
It's being a good time here. Mom and I both have a lot of problems to deal with, but we like each other's company. Our days have included a lot of companiable quiet punctuated by exchange of quotes from interesting reading and slow discussion of things on our minds. It's a longer visit than would really have been my preference, but it turns out not too long to handle.
