Indulging my ruins fetish

I only just today learned about Artificial Owl, one of the coolest site for photography of ruins that I know of.

I couldn't say just why I'm so fascinated by ruins. Simplistic psychologizing about projection doesn't seem to cover it. There's just...something about where the animating spirit was but now isn't.
